If you are a first time Mozilla Firefox user and do not have it installed on your Windows machine yet, this is the tutorial for you. It takes you through all the necessary steps! 1. Download Firefox using Internet Explorer. Go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and click on the download box.
Because it is an executable file you will be given a security warning – click on Run
Wait for the download to complete ...
You will get another security warning – it is safe to click Run
The Mozilla Firefox Setup Wizard will come up – click Next > The license agreement screen requires you to select I accept the terms in the License Agreement before you can
continue. Do it now. Then click Next >
Choose setup type Standard (it should be the default) – click Next >
Click Finish You are now given the opportunity to import your bookmarks from Internet Explorer – recommended if you make
use of your bookmarks. Select Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Next > You can select Firefox's homepage (or your old homepage in IE). This can be reconfigured later.
Click Next > We recommend making Firefox your default browser, so that it automatically opens for webpages.
Click Yes
